Smart code
Using actuator-specific codes, it is possible to retrofit additional functions subsequently required, such as 0/4–20-mA position feedback or 0/4–20-mA inputs, doing so immediately, without tools and without any additional hardware on the actuator. |
Two analog inputs
Input 1 for positioner, galvanically isolated from the electronics. Input 2 for external actual value in conjunction with the PID controller. Using jumpers, Input 2 can also be configured for an input with 24-VDC power supply (for passive transmitters). |
Firmware upgrade
Updates of the software can be easily performed by the user with a micro-SD card or USB connection. |
Analog 0/4–20 mA position output
The active analogous position output is galvanically isolated from the other electronics. In addition, jumpers can be used to configure the output as a current sink (passive position indicator). |
Process adjustment
For process optimization and behavior in emergency situations, different speeds can be set in local and remote operation as well as for emergency-open and emergency-shut commands. |
AC/DC multi-range input
The default electronics allow a wide supply range with 1 x 90–240 VAC 50/60 Hz and 100 ... 220 VDC. |
Noise level
The CM Series impresses people with its quiet operation. Measurements at maximum speed have shown a maximum noise level of 54 dB at a distance of 1 m. |
Frequency-converter technology
Using unique FC technology, it is possible to increase the minimum speed up to a factor of 29. This means wide-ranging requirements for speed and positioning times are combined and covered in a single device. |
